Last night Mexico celebrated its ARIEL AWARDS selecting the best movies in our country. The city of Guadalajara organized a very nice and funny ceremony that was broadcasted in TNT and MAX. TOTEM won “Best Mexican Film” category competing with Heroico (Heroic), Temporada de huracanes (Hurricane Season), Todo el Silencio (All Silence), El Eco (The Echo) and Familia (Family) which can be found on Netflix.

Anoche ganó en la ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco TÓTEM la categoría a mejor película mexicana en una divertida y muy bien organizada ceremonia de los Premios Arieles. Al igual que TÓTEM las otras películas nominadas Heroico, Temporada de huracanes, Todo el silencio, El Eco y Familia las pueden ver en Netflix o Izzi. La ceremonia se transmitió por el Canal 22 de Cultura Mexicana, por TNT y MAX.

Congratulations to Mexican singing star Luis Miguel on his birthday! He and I share the same birthdate, except that he is 4 years younger and better looking than I. He is well known as “The Sun” (el sol) across the Spanish speaking countries and communities around the World!
