Today Mexican Culture TV Channels will dedicate several shows to honor the memory of writer Carlos Monsivais who focused much on describing ordinary Mexico. Los canales 11 (IPN), 14 (SPR), 20 (UNAM) y 22 (Canal Cultural de México) estarán presentando hoy varios programas sobre el escritor Carlos Monsiváis para honrar su memoria a 10 años de su fallecimiento. Yesterday Mexican painter and sculptor Manuel Felguerez passed away at 91. He was born in the state of Zacatecas in northern Mexico. He was a researcher and guest speaker at Cornell & Harvard universities. His art collection is found at the Museum of Abstract Art in the city of Zacatecas (a UNESCO World Heritage city).

Ayer dejó de existir el pintor y escultor mexicano Manuel Felguerez a los 91 años de edad siendo oriundo del estado de Zacatecas. Fue investigador y catedrático invitado por las universidades de Cornell y Harvard en los Estados Unidos. Gran parte de su obra de arte se encuentra en el Museo de Arte Abstracto de la ciudad de Zacatecas (ciudad seleccionada por la UNESCO como Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad).
