Olympic Colors: many people believe that each colorful ring represents one of the 5 continents in our World (blue for Africa, yellow for the Americas, black for Asia, green for Europe & red for Oceania). However, the true reason is that at least one of the 5 colors in the olympic flag appear in the flags of each country in the World! The Mexican delegation also exported the colors of the southern state of Oaxaca worn by each athlete on their outfit.

Colores Olímpicos: la creencia popular es que en la bandera olímpica, cada aro representa a un continente (el azul para África, el amarillo para América, el negro para Asia, el verde para Europa y el rojo para Oceanía). Sin embargo, la realidad es que alguno de esos 5 colores siempre está presente en cualquier bandera de todos los países. De igual manera, la delegación mexicana portó un traje que lleva los colores del estado sureño de Oaxaca.
